Regular dental check-ups allow us to check your oral health, leaving problems untreated could make them more difficult to treat in the future.
At Marsh Lane Dental we look forward to welcoming new private patients.
We have services available for families, children and individuals in Stanmore and the surrounding area. Our routine dentistry provides the highest standard of dental and preventative treatment for the whole family
Our children’s teeth are just as susceptible to decay and other problems as adults’ teeth are. At Marsh Lane Dental we feel it is important to show your children how to care for their teeth from an early age, so they can enjoy having healthy teeth for life.
We would encourage you to bring your child with you to appointments from an early age, even before their teeth have come through, as this allows them to become familiar with the sights, smells and sounds of the practice.
Once they have their own teeth, we need to see them regularly for their own check-ups allowing us to keep a close eye on how their teeth are developing, and spot any potential issues as early as possible.
On your first visit to Marsh Lane Dental we will discuss how you want to improve your dental health and your smile. To do this we need to understand what you hope to achieve and ascertain the current state of your oral health, we can and identify a plan of action.
We will explore all possibilities as we discuss your options to maintain and achieve the smile you have always wanted. No question is too trivial, we want to ensure you feel fully informed and comfortable with your decisions.
At each dental check-up, we will typically examine your teeth, gums and mouth. We will also ask about your general health and any problems you've had with your teeth, mouth or gums since your last visit. In addition, we may ask about (and give you advice relevant to your dental health) teeth-cleaning habits, your diet, smoking and alcohol use.
After your dental check-up, we will recommend a date for your next visit. The time to your next dental check-up could be as short as 3 months or as long as 1 year. People with good oral health will probably need to attend only once every 6 months but those with more problems will need dental check-ups more often.
At Marsh Lane Dental we offer a range of dental hygiene services that will help keep your teeth sparkling and your gums healthy. Our experienced dental hygienist will also show you how to maintain a healthy mouth between appointments.
