Welcome to the first post of many for Marsh Lane Dental in Stanmore. We have grown and expanded the team under the care of Principal Dentists Dr Rima and Dr Jay who have introduced a group of expert dentists to look after all your dental needs. We have put together a little post to introduce the different types of dentist and how we at Marsh Lane Dental can cater to all your dental needs!

General Dentist

Most often when you go to the dentist you will see a general dentist. This is a bit like seeing your GP who is competent at a range of things. At Marsh Lane Dental you will see one of our general dentists for your day to day, routine care. This will include examinations; x-rays; fillings; crowns; extractions and a range of other treatments you may need.

The role of the general dentist is to be your first point of care. They will get to know you, your needs and all of our team is very experienced in diagnosing and treating any problems you have.

Dental Experts

There are a number of different dental specialties and here at Marsh Lane Dental we have grown a team of dentists who can tackle the more complex and difficult problems you may have. We wanted to outline some of the expert areas we cover and what they involve.

Cosmetic Dentists

We have a number of Cosmetic Dentists. Your smile is the first impression you give, and we are here to make you sure are confident with your smile. We have a team that have an expertise in tooth whitening, Dental Cosmetic Bonding, Composite bonding, Veneer and a range of dental procedures to give you that beautiful smile you want.

Dr Nihir and Dr Anisha are helping to give the local community of Stanmore, Harrow and Edgware the smiles they want and deserve.

Invisalign Dentists

Marsh Lane dental has dedicated Invisalign dentists. The popular household name in teeth straightening, Invisalign is the clear brace system to align and improve your smile. We have experts in Invisalign to help with all your teeth straightening needs.

Implant Dentists (Implantologist)

Missing Teeth and Loose Dentures are one of the biggest complaints our patients have. We have a team of dedicated dental implant surgeons on hand to restore your smile and give you tooth replacements that are as close to natural teeth as possible.

Dr Victor and Dr Jay are our resident implant surgeons, and they are here to guide you through the process. You will often be treated by both at the same time, we like to think that two heads are better than one and they work in an excellent team to provide dental implant solutions and replace all the missing teeth.

Root Canal Dentist (Endodontist)

Root canal treatment usually brings images of pain and horror. It should not be the case. Root canal treatments with Marsh Lane Dental are done with one of our expert root canal dentist. They take time to diagnose the problem to ensure root canal is necessary. Many patients have fallen asleep while others watch a film. We ensure it is painless.

Dr Rima is our resident Root Canal expert, she is kind, gentle and will talk you through the whole process.

Oral Surgery/ Wisdom tooth removal (Oral Surgeon)

Sometimes teeth cannot be saved. When they do need to come out, we want you to be in great hands. We want teeth to be removed expertly, with minimal trauma. Our expert oral surgeons will endeavor to make the process painless, quick and efficient. We know its not fun but you want someone who knows how to remove teeth quickly and safely.

Lower Wisdom teeth are another challenge. We have dedicated clinics with Dr Nazia who is dual qualified as a Doctor and Dentist. She will ensure that those wisdom teeth are taken out without trouble.

Sedation Dentist

We look after a great number of nervous and anxious patients, and this is our expertise. We have a sedation dentist who aims to treat you with the benefits of sedation. By giving you some special medication, we can calm the nerves and put you into a very relaxed state. This is extremely safe and controlled. You will be breathing, talking and able to tolerate some extra treatment.
